How to Launch a Fixed Points Referral Campaign with Leaderboard

On bandit, we offer a referral campaign feature that allows you to create a referral campaign for your campaigns. This feature enables you to reward your users for referring their friends to your campaign. In this guide, you will learn how to create a fixed points referral campaign with a leaderboard.

Step 1: Create a main campaign

First, you need to create a main campaign. This campaign will be the campaign that users will refer their friends to. To create a main campaign, follow these steps: How to Create a Campaign.

For this guide, we will call it the "The Main Campaign".

Step 2: Create a fixed points referral campaign

After creating the main campaign, you need to create a fixed points referral campaign and add the main campaign in step 1. More details here: Configure the Referral Campaign.

Step 3: Set up the Leaderboard App

Leadeboard is an app that displays the users and the points they have earned in any campaign. In this guide we will set up a leaderboard for the referral campaign we created in step 2.

Setup an empty campaign and add the "Campaign Leaderboard" app.

Step 4: Configure the Leaderboard App

Select the Main campaign and the Referral campaign created in step 1 and step 2 respectively.

Step 5: Save and Submit your campaign

After saving the leaderboard app, click on the "Save changes" button to finalize your setup. The leaderboard will now display the users and the points they have earned in the main campaign and the referral campaign.

And that's it! You have successfully created a fixed points referral campaign with a leaderboard.
