Triggers vs. Dependencies

What is the Difference between Triggers and Dependencies?

Triggers and dependencies are two key features on the dashboard that help you create and manage campaigns effectively. Understanding the difference between triggers and dependencies is crucial for setting up your campaigns correctly.

TriggersDependencies
Triggers are events that, when they occur, automatically initiate certain actions within the app.Dependencies are conditions that must be met before an app can run certain actions manually.
Example: If you set up a trigger to reward users with 100 XP when they complete a Twitter Follow task, the reward is automatically given once the task is completed. The key point here is that the user is not required to claim the reward manually; it's automatically credited to their account.Example: If you have set up a dependency that a user must complete a Twitter Follow task before they can claim a reward of 100 XP. Unlike with triggers, the user is required to claim the reward manually in this case. The reward won't be given until the user takes the action to claim it, and they can only claim it if they've met the condition (in this case, completing the Twitter Follow task).
